Giovanni Domenico Maraldi

Giovanni Domenico (French: Jean -Dominique ) Maraldi ( born April 17, 1709 Perinaldo, † November 14, 1788 ibid ) was an Italian astronomer geborenener and the nephew of Giacomo F. Maraldi. Maraldi came to Paris in 1727 and in 1731 a member of the Académie des sciences. There he discovered two " nebulous star ", which turned out to later as the two star clusters Messier 2 and Messier 15.
