Girișu de Criș

Girişu de Criş (Hungarian Körösgyéres ) is a municipality in northwestern Romania. It belongs to the Bihor County and is located about 15 kilometers west of Oradea on the Hungarian border. She had 2007 5690 inhabitants in the year.

The community Girişu de Criş consists of the districts Girişu de Criş and Tarian ( Köröstarján ).

History

On June 10, 1290 from Hungarian king Ladislaus IV ( Cheresig ) was murdered at the nearby castle Kereczeg.
