Giuseppe Felice Tosi
Giuseppe Felice Tosi ( born February 8, 1628 Bologna, † 1693 ) was an Italian organist, conductor and composer.
Up to a few years ( 1680-1683 ), he was active as a conductor in Ferrara, he worked in his home town as organist at various churches and was a member of the influential Accademia Filarmonica. His son Pier Francesco Tosi was a famous castrato and composer and singing teacher in many European cities active.
Giuseppe Felice Tosi created among other works a number of solo cantatas and operas that show him as a skilled and imaginative composers.
