Gladys Tejeda

Gladys Tejeda ( born September 30, 1985 in Junín, Huancayo or Santa Fe de Jauja, Peru ) is a Peruvian track and field athlete.

The 1.62 meter tall athlete, who brought a competition weight of 46 kilos in 2012, is trained by Pedro Kim. She participated in the Pan American Games in 2011 and finished there with a time of 2:42,09 hours in Marathon 3rd place. Tejeda was also in the squad of the Peruvian team for the 2012 Summer Olympics and took part in the opening ceremony as the flag bearer. In London, she put the Olympic marathon route back into personal best of 2:32,07 hours. Thus, it was ranked at # 43 out of Final Ranking.
