Glaisher (crater)

Glaisher is a bowl-shaped impact crater on the Moon's front page in the highlands between Mare Crisium and Palus Somni, west of Greaves and southwest of Yerkes.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the English meteorologist and aeronaut James Glaisher.
