Glen Little

Glen Matthew Little (born 15 October 1975, in Wimbledon ) is an English footballer. The right winger played 282 appearances for Burnley and now stands at Sheffield United.

Playing career

Glen Little began his career as a professional footballer in 1994 in his London home at Crystal Palace. There he was, however, never used in a league game and hired in August 1995 to the Northern Ireland club Glentoran Belfast. There he gained his first experience in professional football and won the Irish Cup in 1996.

He was then taken from Burnley under contract. In 246 games, he scored 32 league matches for his new club. In 2003, he was the Reading FC and Bolton Wanderers on loan.

From 2004 to Little played for first division club FC Reading, but he left in the summer of 2008, after the descent, to sign the FA Cup winners Portsmouth. There he came, however - even injury - only eight competitive stakes in the 2008/09 season and new coach Paul Hart lent him in March 2009 to the end of the current season at his former club from Reading from. After his return he received from " Pompey " the release for a change and after a successful trial, he signed in August 2009 at Sheffield United a new one-year contract.
