Global Labour University

The Global Labour University was founded in 2004 and its focus is on international economic and social policy, global governance, macroeconomics and international organization of trade union work. The goal of the University is the formation of a network of trade union cadres.

The University is supported by the following organizations: International Labour Organization ( ILO), the Hans Boeckler Foundation (HBS ), the Friedrich- Ebert- Stiftung (FES ) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Technical Cooperation Development (BMZ).

The university is both content and aligned organizational globally, so find courses in Germany at the University of Kassel and Berlin at the Academy of Economics and Law held in South Africa ( Johannesburg) at Witwatersrand University ( WITS ) in Brazil at the State University of Campinas ( São Paulo State ) and in India ( Mumbai) at Tata Institute of Social Sciences ( TISS ). The different locations differ in their field.
