The Globus Group is a German retail chain hypermarkets, DIY stores and electronics stores at home and abroad.
History
In 1828 Franz Bruch ( 1801-1865 ) was opened in St. Wendel, Saarland a grocery store under his name. In 1865, Joseph Adam stepped fracture ( 1837-1905 ) joined the management of the company. Joseph Karl fracture (1873-1949), the grandson of the founder, took over the company in 1905 by his father. Since then the company has developed from a retailer towards wholesale. On February 1, 1949 Joseph died broken. His two sons, Franz -Josef Bruch and Dr. Walter Bruch (1913-1999), which is now converted into a GmbH took over the company. 1953 opened at the headquarters under the name " A. Sales divisions and locations
Globus operates (as of March 2013) in Germany 45, 15 in the Czech Republic and Russia 6 hypermarkets. In Luxembourg include 2 DIY on the globe group. Criticism
Five employees who were protesting in the sectoral collective agreement during working hours against a pullout of Hela, was terminated. In one case, the Labour Court Saarbrücken has given the employer right. After five locked- Hela employee may not return to work for the time being. The union wants to appeal. In March 2013 Globe announced that they wanted to get out of the collective agreement for the retailers to introduce their own, globe - specific tariff structures in the future. Foundations

Expansion
