Glomfjord is an industrial site on the end of a small fjord of the same name in the north of Norway. The place belongs to local government Meløy, District Salten in Nordland. The population in 2005 was 1,204.

Climate

Although the site about 45 km north of the Arctic Circle, not far from Norway's second largest glacier svartisen, the climate is tempered by the Gulf Stream, although quite humid.
