Gnaeus Cornelius Lentulus (consul 97 BC)

Gnaeus Cornelius Lentulus was a Roman politician of the late Republic.

Gnaeus Cornelius Lentulus belonged to the branch of the family of Cornelius Lentuli. The consul of the year 146 BC, who bore the same name, should have been his father. At least 100 have been, as he BC held the consulate in 97 BC, praetor Lentulus must. His adopted son, Gnaeus Cornelius Lentulus Clodianus was also a Roman Consul.
