Gnawa

The Gnawa (French: Gnaoua, Arabic غناوة, DMG Gnawa ) are an ethnic minority in Morocco, descendants of from the western sub-Saharan Africa originating slaves. The Gnawa bear certain traits of a Sufi brotherhood ( tariqa ).
