Godfrey Thoma

Godfrey Thoma (born 22 January 1957) is a politician nauruischer. He was a member of the Nauruan Parliament. His home is in the district Aiwo.

The working as a police officer Thoma was elected after the parliamentary elections in May 2003 the Speaker of Parliament, but resigned from the post after only one day back. Under René Harris, he was appointed first time as justice and Fisheries Ministers in August 2003. Even under Ludwig Scotty, he was Minister of Justice. 2004, 2008 and 2010 he was re- elected to parliament. On April 25, 2013, was re-elected as Speaker of Parliament. In the election on June 8, 2013 he lost his seat
