Godziszowa

Godziszowa [ gɔd͡ʑi'ʂɔva ] ( German Reppersdorf ) is a village in the rural community Mściwojów in powiat Jaworski, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland.

History

Reppersdorf was first documented in 1346. 1939, the place had 565 inhabitants. Until 1945, there was in place a castle from the 18th century with a park, which was, among other things owned by the families of Zedlitz, Eicke, of Kramsta and Hiller of Gaertringen. It burned after taking the town by the Red Army from the end of April 1945. The ruins were demolished in the late 1960s, the park is wild.

From 1975 to 1998 Godziszowa belonged to the Province of Legnica.

Sight

In the village is an old Catholic church. Next to it is a small, former Protestant prayer house of the 19th century (now restaurant ).
