Golda Meir School

The Golda Meir School ( formerly known as Fourth Street School) is a school building in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States.

The building in the style of Neo-Romanesque was designed by architect Henry C. Koch, and opened in 1890. The primary school was visited from 1906 to 1912 by the future Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir and received her honor in 1979 its present name.

The Magnet School was added in 1990 as a National Historic Landmark on the National Register of Historic Places. She is one of 42 historic sites ( National Historic Landmarks) in Wisconsin.
