Golem (Band)
Golem is a Death Metal band from Berlin. The music contains influences from black metal as well as grindcore.
History
The band was in Buckow in Brandenburg (then East Germany) established in 1989. Particularly tragic for the band were the two car accidents in which Max Griitzmacher 1992 and 1993 Jens Malwitz died. The band, however, was continued and got for her debut album a contract with the East German label Invasion Records. After the label stopped the work, you stood back without a contract. The high quality of the first album however, made it easier to get a new record deal. Currently the band on the German label Nuclear Blast is under contract.
