Gölyaka

Gölyaka is a town and a district of the Turkish province of Düzce. The village is located about 15 kilometers southwest of the provincial capital of Düzce.

The district is located in the southwest of the province. It is bordered to the north by Gümüşova, on the east by the central district, to the south by the province of Bolu and to the west by the province of Sakarya. From Gölyaka a road leads north to the E-80, which runs outside the circle. The city itself lies in the plane Düzce Ovasi south is a part of the mountain ridge Elmacık Dagi. In the northeast of the river Melen Çayı touches the district, which flows into the Black Sea. To the east lies on the boundary of strong marshy lake Efteni Gölü.
