Gordon Robertson (ice hockey)

Gordon Robertson ( born June 25, 1926 in Castlegar, British Columbia ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player. At the Olympic Winter Games in 1952 he won the gold medal as a member of the Canadian national team.

Career

Gordon Robertson began his career as a hockey player in 1945 at the Junior team Nanaimo Clippers. He then spent almost his entire career at senior level until 1960 with several breaks in the Trail Smoke Eaters from the Western International Hockey League. Only in 1952 he represented as a guest player with the Edmonton Mercurys Canada at the Olympic Winter Games.

Internationally

For Canada, Robertson participated in the Olympic Winter Games in 1952 in part in Oslo, where he won the gold medal with his team. In eight games, he scored four goals and six assists.
