Gorgeous Carat

Gorgeous Carat (Japaneseゴージャス·カラット) is a shōnen -ai manga Japanese illustrator You Higuri from the year 1999. The plant is about the jewel thief Noir in France around the turn of the century.

Content

The jewel thief drives Noir in France at the beginning of the 20th century up to mischief. In his civil identity as Earl Ray Balzac Courlande he makes the young Florean, son of impoverished noble family Rochefort, to his assistants. He also gets involved in the adventure Noirs and travels with Morocco, as both explore with friends Laila and Noël for the treasure of the Knights Templar. This raises Azura teacher Noirs, who had invited her out as an actual opponent.

Publication

The manga was published in individual chapters from 1999 in the manga magazine Eyes of the publisher Shueisha in Japan. The chapters were released later in four anthologies. It was followed by two sequels Gorgeous Carat Galaxy in April 2004 and Gorgeous Carat: L' Esperanza.

In German published from January 2005 to August 2006, all five volumes of the manga when Carlsen Verlag. Also appeared Galaxy and 2012 La Esperanza. An English version was published by Tokyopop under the label Blu.
