Gorilla Biscuits
Gorilla Biscuits are a hardcore band from New York City. They were founded in the late 1980s, are part of the straight edge scene and are among the most influential and successful bands of this genre. The band released the album 1989 Start Today and broke up then.
In 2005, the former members of the group were asked by the operators of the club CBGB to play a show to get the club alive. As a result, the band was back together and went 15 years after the dissolution in 2006 on a U.S. tour - the only album Start Today was re-released in an expanded version in order bonus shots.
2007 saw the first European tour held for 16 years.
