Gorno Lukovo

Gorno Lukowo, Bulgarian: Горно Луково, is an abandoned village in southern Bulgaria in the municipality of Haskovo Ivaylovgrad in the Oblast.

The inhabitants of the first Bulgarian resort in the Rhodope mountains at the headwaters of the river Luda reka, the Greek Erythropotamos, with houses made of break and Feldstein, in about a thousand feet away from the Greek border, lived from mining and as mountain farmers, inter alia, of sheep - and goats and built onions. Four residents still were counted for 2007, 2008, only a resident. The one kilometer mountain downstream Dolno Lukowo counted 2007 or 101 inhabitants.
