Got My Mojo Working Blue is a song that was written by Preston Foster and first recorded by Ann Cole in 1956. Really popular, however, the piece was only in the hands of Muddy Waters, brought out its version in 1957 on Chess Records. The Rolling Stone lists Waters ' version currently ranked 368 of its list of the 500 best songs of all time. It is also his version, which was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, and appeared in the list of Songs of the Century.

The song is about a man, a woman with a Mojo occupied, but that clearly does not seem to work, what drives him in bewilderment, because he does not know what to do, because his love is not reciprocated. The text was often varies from artist to artist, but the core has always remained the same.

A wide range of different musicians have recorded the piece, including music greats such as Canned Heat, Elvis Presley, BB King and Eric Clapton also just. However, the song was always very closely associated with Muddy Waters, who landed in 1957 with the song a hit.
