Government House (Brisbane)

The Government House, also called remote mountain, in Bardon, a suburb of Brisbane, is the official residence of the Governor of the Australian state of Queensland. The Governor represents Queen Elizabeth II, head of state of Queensland.

When the Prime Minister of Queensland is planning to hold new elections, he comes to a conversation with the Governor to Government House. In addition, after an election, the new government is sworn in there.
