GPSS

GPSS (General Purpose Simulation System) is a programming language for the simulation of queuing network models (such as production processes).

The language was developed in 1961 by Geoffrey Gordon. You now plays only a minor role. Nevertheless, there are still appropriate for today's software architectures.
