Gradina, Virovitica-Podravina County

Gradina is a village and a municipality in the Virovitica - Podravina in Croatia in the historic region of Slavonia. In the 2001 census, the municipality had 4,485 inhabitants, 85.60 % of Croats and 9.70% Serbs. The village had only 972 inhabitants. In the 2011 census, the municipality had 3,850 inhabitants, 89.01 % of Croats and 8.36% Serbs. The village has only 916 inhabitants.

Geography

Gradina is located about 6 km north of the National Road D2, 8 km east of National Highway D5. To 10 km to the north there is the river Drava, which forms the border to Hungary here. Gradina is located about 6 km north of Suhopolje and about 15 km from Virovitica away.
