Graff (lunar crater)

36.3

Graff is an impact crater on the far southwestern edge of the lunar front side, which is why he can be invisible due to the libration, or if visible, only highly distorted to see. It is located west of the Vallis Bouvard and northwest of the crater Baade. The crater is only slightly eroded and has concentric structures inside on.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1970 by the German astronomer Kasimir Graff.
