Grand Bell Awards

The Daejong Film Award ( Kor.: 대종상 영화제, daejongsang yeonghwajae ), also known as Grand Bell Award, is an award every year South Korean award for outstanding domestic films.

The Daejong Film Award was introduced as the Korean Film Award from the Ministry of Education on August 15, 1958. The award was for the third year the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, which changed its name in Daejong Film Awards and gave this first time in 1962. The 8th and 9th ceremony took place price under the name of Korean art and culture.
