Gratien Gélinas
Gratien Gélinas, CC ( born December 8, 1909 in Saint- Tite, Quebec, Canada, † March 16, 1999 in Deux- Montagnes, Quebec, Canada ) was a Canadian film and theater actor, director and author.
Life and work
At a young age Gélinas worked as an actor, until he discovered his passion as a director and writer. He became famous especially with the Drama Agnes - Angel in the fire.
Gratien Gélinas is considered the founder of modern Canadian theater and film.
In his last years he author, actor, producer and distributor of staged by him plays.
