Grave (Band)

Grave is a company incorporated in 1986 under the name Corpse Death Metal band from Sweden.

Band History

After its founding in 1986 Grave took on a number of demo tapes, eventually published in 1991 their debut album Into the Grave. In 1992 their second album You'll Never See ... that abbekam as much praise as criticism. But the fact is that the band has made a big musical step forward. A year later, in 1993, the band recorded the EP Limited And Here I Die ... Satisfied, which in addition to some new pieces also contained a handful of remixes. Their next album, Soulless, but was more mature a lot and was on the '96 album Hating Life for the first time to hear background vocals of guitarist Ola Lindgren. After her live album Extremely Rotten Live however, a longer pause followed until 1999. At this time, the band decided though to go on, but suffered from lack musician. They decided their first guitarist Jonas Torndal to get back on board. The E -Bass took over Fredrik Isaksson (ex - Therion ). With this line-up they played their 2002 comeback album, Back from the Grave one containing a bonus CD on three demos from the years '88 to '89. Was published in 2004 Fiendish Regression, followed by As Rapture Comes (2006). The band from Century Media moved to smaller record label Regain Records. In 2008 appeared with Dominion VIII the eighth studio album by the band. Two years later appeared with Burial Ground the next work of Sweden.

2009 Lindgren founded his solo project Grey Heavens, in which he would henceforth make more experimental and dark music in addition to Grave.

Since 2010 Tobias Christianson plays Dismember bass at Grave, replacing Fredrik Isaksson.
