Way of life

Over the life of this kind are of the genus is little data as in many species. The habitat preferences of Sorex cylindricauda are unclear bedfordiae mainly based on regular confusion with the sympatric Sorex living; probably she prefers mountain forest areas, because these also surrounded the locality of the type specimen.

System

Sorex cylindricauda is classified as a separate species within the genus of Rotzahnspitzmäuse ( Sorex ), which consists of about 80 species. The first scientific description comes from Henri Milne -Edwards in 1872, who described an individual from the region Baoxing, Sichuan province.
