Greek legislative election, 1964

The parliamentary elections in Greece in 1964 was held on 16 February 1964. It was created by Georgios Papandreou and his center- left party Enosis Kendrou (EK; center Union) won with an absolute majority of votes of 52.71 %.

The party won 171 and 173 of the 300 available seats in the Greek Parliament and decreed thus has an absolute majority of parliamentary seats (151 seats). After the parliamentary election Georgios Papandreou made ​​after appropriate ordering of the Greek King Paul a government with him as prime minister at the head from 18 February 1964.

The parliamentary election was held after the slightly reinforced proportional representation.
