The eternal attraction of the worm is an American animated short film directed by Friz Freleng from the year 1943.

Action

An angler can a worm on a fishing hook into the water. This consists first of a swimming cap on and test the water temperature before it means the angler, very down to let him into the water. The worm, which is spoken by Mel Blanc, is like the American- Italian showman Jerry Colonna with beard and accent. Also, the angler who is seen briefly at the end of the film, has his looks and speaks with his single sentence " Ah, yes! Embarrasing, is not it? "(Eng. " Ah, yes. Embarrassing, right? After The Wacky Worm in 1941 it was the second and last appearance of the worm in a Merrie Melodies - animated film.

Awards

The eternal attraction of the worm was nominated in 1944 for an Oscar in the category " Best Animated Short Film ", but could not prevail against Tom plays pyrotechnician.
