Greg Camarillo

Greg Camarillo ( born April 18, 1982 in Redwood City, California) is an American football player at the position of wide receiver. He currently plays for the Minnesota Vikings in the National Football League.

Career

College career

Camarillo finished his first season at Stanford University in 2000. Overall, he completed four seasons and caught 46 passes for 614 yard space gain. In addition to his regular position as a wide receiver, he was to some extent in Special Team. Three times he was awarded the Academic All -Pac -10.

NFL Career

Greg Camarillo was committed in 2005 by the San Diego Chargers as a free agent, arrived there, however, rarely used.

2007 obliged the Miami Dolphins receiver. December 2007, he caught a 64- yard pass in overtime and secured his team so the only win of the season. In addition, it was his first touchdown in the NFL. His second he was able to record in the last game week against the New England Patriots.

He extended his contract on 20 November 2008 by three years. Three days later he caught his fourth touchdown already, but was injured in the same game and fell the rest of the season out.

On August 25, 2010 Camarillo moved to a barter transaction to the Minnesota Vikings. The Miami Dolphins received in return the cornerback Benny Sapp. After his contract was not renewed at the Vikings, he moved to the 2012 season for the New Orleans Saints. He was released before the season by the Saints, but again obliged mid-September due to the many injuries in the squad for a month. Since October 2012 Camarillo is Free Agent.
