Greg Cruttwell

Greg Cruttwell (* 1962 in London ) is a British actor, screenwriter, director, film producer and son of actress Geraldine McEwan and Hugh Cruttwell, former Director of the Royal School of Dramatic Art

Life

Cruttwell attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art before he was working as a film director and producer, he appeared in over 20 theater productions, with across the UK. Wrote in 1990 Cruttwell the play Waiting for Sir Larry, where he also took a leading role. The piece was awarded at the Edinburgh Festival with the Fringe First Award.

His film debut was Cruttwell in Mike Leigh comedy Naked. He was also in 1996, to see next Danny Aiello, Jeff Daniels, and Charlize Theron in the crime film 2 Days in the Valley. Also in the UK television Murder Most Horrid, French & Saunders and Birds of a Feather he had episodic.

In 2002 Cruttwell, founded with producer Phil Hunt, his own production company, called Head Gear film. The first of Head Gear Films produced movie was Chunky Monkey, for the Cruttwell wrote the screenplay. In addition, he produced for Head Gear the political thriller Rabbit On The Moon.
