Greg Rawlinson

Greg Rawlinson ( born August 14, 1978 in Durban, South Africa) is a New Zealand rugby union player, who made his debut in the New Zealand national team against Ireland in June 2006. He was the first South African All Black of the professional era. The only other All Black who was born in South Africa, Andrew Mehrtens, who also was born in Durban. He plays at the position of the second row striker.

Rawlinson played for the North Harbour Rugby Union in the Air New Zealand Cup, and how his former North Harbour captain Rua Tipoki, he played first for Bay of Plenty in the National Provincial Championship ( NPC), the predecessor of the Air New Zealand Cup. In 2005 he was elected to the North Harbour player of the year after he had played in all twelve games in the region.

Rawlinson in 2007 signed a three year contract with the Worcester Warriors and now plays in the Guinness Premiership.
