Greg Rikaart

Greg Rikaart ( born February 26, 1977 in Brooklyn, New York City ) is an American actor. He is currently playing in the American soap opera Young and the Restless ( TV series).

Life

Gregory Andrew Rikaart grew up in Staten Iceland, New York. He has an older sister, Keri. He has with distinction at Villanova University of Virginia his school education. During his studies he worked for a semester in Washington for a member of Congress at the Capitol.

Early in his acting career in Hollywood, he had only guest appearances in series such as Gilmore Girls and Grounded for Life, after he had his first major success in the series Dawson's Creek. There he played the role of David in the 6th season.

In 2003, he was first cast in a cameo appearance in the movie X -Men 2, before he took over the role of Kevin Fisher in the U.S. soap opera Young and the Restless. In addition to his role in this series, for which he has so far been awarded an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor, he also takes on guest appearances in other series. So in 2007 in the series CSI Miami.
