Grégory Anquetil

Grégory Anquetil ( born December 14, 1970 in Harfleur, France ) is a retired French handball player. He is 1.78 m tall and weighs 79 kg. Grégory Anquetil is married and has two children.

Anquetil, who last played in Montpellier ( Rückennr. 9) and ran aground on the French men's national handball team ( Rückennr. 9), played mainly as a right winger.

In his youth, Grégory Anquetil was still playing at Gonfreville l' Orcher HB in his hometown. 1988 took him by the then second division club Montpellier HB under contract, he remained faithful to his career end in 2007. He experienced the rise in 1992 in the French first division, the profits of the French Cup in 1995, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006, the profits of the French Cup in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2006, the profits of the French League Cup 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 as well as the culmination of winning the EHF Champions League 2003.

Grégory Anquetil has contested exactly 169 caps for the French men's national handball team until February 6, 2005. 1995 and 2001 he was World Champion with France; 2003 and 2005 he won the World Cup bronze.

Grégory Anquetil was for many years captain of Montpellier HB and the French men's national handball team.
