Grey Turner's sign

The Grey- Turner's sign (English: Grey-Turner 's sign ), as well as the Cullen's sign, a clinical sign of severe acute pancreatitis. This occurred in the flank area on bluish- greenish spots. They are caused by a ödematose soaking the subcutis and local bleeding from small vessels, referred to as ecchymoses, which are caused by autodigestion of blood vessels by pancreatic enzymes or by bleeding in the retroperitoneum.

The character is named after the English surgeon George Grey Turner ( 1877-1951 ).
