Grigny (Essonne)

Grigny is a French town with 27 179 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ). Grigny is located approximately 30 kilometers south of Paris in the department of Essonne in the region Ile- de -France, near the Prefecture Evry.

Grigny is near the Orly airport in Paris and in the late 1960s has seen exceptional growth. The train RER line D here has a breakpoint.
