Grijpskerke

Grijpskerke was a town in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It was formed on 1 January 1816, the union of the three communities Butt Inge en Zandvoort, Grijpskerke s Poppendamme and Hooge country. On 1 July 1966, it was merged with Aagtekerke and Meliskerke the new community Mariekerke, in turn, is since 1997 part of Veere. The Protestant parish church is the Michaëlskerk.
