Grisy-Suisnes

Grisy- Suisnes is a commune with 2395 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Seine- et- Marne in the Île- de -France region; it belongs to the district of the canton of Melun and Brie -Comte- Robert. She is a member of the Communauté de communes of Gués de l' Yerres. The inhabitants call themselves Grisysoliens.

History

Prehistoric and Gallo- Roman finds testify to an early settlement.

The basic rule of Grisy was 1265, the year of the first documented tradition of the place, owned by Pierre de Grisy.
