The Great Dumecke is a 2.9 km long, orographic right tributary of the Möhne in North Rhine -Westphalia, Germany. The creek flows in the urban area of the district of Soest belonging cities Ruethen and Warstein.

Geography

The Great Dumecke rises in Drewer, a district of Ruethen at an altitude of 290 m above sea level. NN. From here the river flows first in southwestern directions. North of the quarry Drewer the creek turns south and passes through the quarry to the west. East of Belecke opens the stream to 258 m above sea level. NN on the right side in the Mohne. With a height difference of 32 meters, the average bed slope is 11.0 ‰. The 10.139 km ² large catchment area is drained by Möhne, Ruhr and Rhine to the North Sea.
