Großer Teufelssee

The Great Devil is in the nature reserve Teufelsmoor Horst Horst northeast of the hamlet of the municipality in the district of Rostock Sanitz. The bulk of the lake lies within the municipality of Sanitz, only the eastern tip belongs to the municipality of Ticino. The lake is surrounded by mixed forest. South of the Great Devil, are the smaller lakes Little Devil with 4.5 acres and Horster lake with 4.0 acres. The lake has a north- south length of about 320 meters and an east-west extent of about 700 meters.
