Coat of arms
Blazon: " Argent, a green lily in the door opening of a continuous, above adjoining schwarzgefugten on red wall with a curved silver bar occupied arched green sign foot. "
The coat of arms symbols are based on several typical local specialties. These are the many belonging to the farms high stone archways, which are symbolized by a grooved wall in the coat of arms. In the doorway is the heraldic lily - not as a symbol of purity and innocence, as is often the case - but in real terms relative to the wild orchids in the region around Größnitz frequent. The fact that Größnitz and his district towns are situated on a mountain is indicated by a curved silver bar occupied arched green sign foot. The coat of arms was designed by Jörg Kommunalheraldiker Mantzsch in 2006 and led to the approval process.
The colors of this place are green - white.
