Grounding - The Last Days of Swissair is a Swiss movie that is about the last days of the Swiss airline Swissair.

Action

The rotated by true events movie has the no-fly Swissair on 2 October 2001 on the subject and tells how it came about. Simultaneously, the film portrays the fate of the last chief of the airline, Mario Corti and the lot of the people who lost in the wake of the "Swissair " decline job and existence.

Success

On the day of the theatrical release in German Switzerland, on 19 January 2006, Grounding was shown in the Solothurn Film Festival program. At the same time he ran in about 50 German Swiss cities and attracted the first weekend alone, over 50,000 people to the movies. With 378,000 entries Grounding was the best attended Swiss film in 2006.
