Gruschenka Stevens

Grushenka Stevens (born 16 July 1974 in Cologne as Grace Simon ) is a German actress and singer.

Life

At the age of six, she played a role in the feature film An afternoon in Cologne and shortly thereafter had a guest appearance on the children's program The program with the mouse.

At age eleven, she starred in one piece at the Schauspielhaus Cologne and went with 17 years in New York City, where she took acting lessons at the studios of Herbert Berghoff. She then attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City, London and Los Angeles, where she got a role in a Canadian- German Soap Opera.

In Nobody loves me and full normaaal she received in 1994 the first small roles in German film. In 1995, she played in the cold finger in the lead role, the telephone operator Conny.

In 1999, she embodied in Widows a singer and out of here a overwhelmed mother, directed by Franziska Buch. The film was awarded the Max Ophüls Prize. Again under Huettner Director she acted in the 2001 film adaptation of the bestseller by Ildikó of Kürthy Mondscheintarif on the side of Jasmin Tabatabai. In Mondscheintarif she played a confused end Zwanzigerin who finally manage to close her dream man in her arms after many romantic misunderstandings. This was followed by a collaboration with the director Vivian Naefe, which it occupied in two main roles: Crazy is also normal, a music tragicomedy on the side of Dieter Pfaff and the black comedy Men piecemeal.

At the invitation of EMI Publishing USA Grushenka Stevens moved to New York City and Nashville to develop her singing career on-site with producers and songwriters. In 2002 she returned to Germany to take up full-time studies in singing and composition, which she completed in 2008. Since then Grushenka Stevens is also active under her birth name Grace Simon as a singer and songwriter. She has performed, among others, for the 25th anniversary of Greenpeace, for the opening of the design fair in the Women's Museum and the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger in culture Mülheim. Parallel Grushenka Stevens continued to work as an actress.

2010 wins the consequence network attack from the series Krimi.de with Grushenka Stevens in the role of Lena Mederling the Rose d'Or in the category Children & Youth.
