Grzebienisko

Grzebienisko ( German 1887-1940 comb Thal, 1940-1945 Kammtal ) is a village in the municipality Duszniki, powiat Szamotulski, Greater Poland Voivodeship in Poland. It is located about 35 km west of the voivodship Poznan ( Poznań) and has about 650 inhabitants.

History

Ridge valley belonged to Prussia from 1793 to 1920 and from 1818 on was part of the circle Samter. The village was in the field, which fell in 1920 as a result of the Versailles Treaty back to Poland.

In Grzebienisko there is a primary and a secondary school and a preschool. In addition, there is a fire department and a shooting club. The latter maintains close contacts with the shooting club in Fassberg, Lower Saxony. The economy is dominated by agriculture. In addition to a government health center there are two supermarkets and a pharmacy. In the center is on a hill, the old German cemetery. The gun club also maintains a small museum with agricultural objects from the past.
