Guardian Industries Corporation is a 1932 based American company headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Guardian is one of the world's leading companies in the field of flat glass manufacture, manufacture of glass products and glass fiber insulation and products for the construction industry for the services sector and the residential and automotive sector. Guardian employs over 19,000 people worldwide, including 4,300 in Europe and has a presence in North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. History

In 1947 the company was acquired by William Davidson. 1970, probably represents the most important year in company history, from then Guardian flat glass could produce by the float glass process. The products Ultra ® Mirror, Satin Deco ®, Deco Cristal ®, ShowerGuard ® and Diamond Guard ® belong to Guardian's InGlass series, which includes glass for interior applications.
