Guericke (crater)

Guericke is an impact crater on the lunar front side in the north of Mare Nubium, southeast of the crater Parry and west of Davy. The crater is heavily eroded, the interior of lava flooded with several openings in the crater wall.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the German physicist Otto von Guericke.
