Parry (crater)

Parry is an impact crater on the moon in front of Mare Cognitum, southeast of Wall level of Fra Mauro. Its western boundary partially overlaps the wall of the crater Bonpland. The crater is eroded, the interior largely flat.

In the north, east and south run ( partially through the interior of Fra Mauro and Bonpland ) the grooves of the moon Rimae Parry.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the British explorer William Edward Parry.
