Tolansky (crater)

Tolansky is an impact crater on the lunar front side in the plane of the Mare Cognitum, south of the crater Parry and northwest of Guericke. The crater is little eroded and the crater floor is flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1976 after the British physicist Samuel Tolansky.
